Flying in

Fly into Manila, then a short domestic hop to Puerto Princesa. The domestic flight leaves from a different terminal (a bus transfer away), so leave at least 4 hours between flights, or better, stay a night in Manila.

GRAB APP · TUK-TUKS

Getting around

In Manila, the Grab app (like Uber/Lyft) is the way around. Set it up before you leave. Puerto Princesa has no Grab: arrange a pickup with your hotel, and take tuk-tuks for short trips.

ETRAVEL · CASH · +15 HRS

Before you go

Fill out the eTravel form (etravel.gov.ph) the day before you fly, and bring new, crisp bills to exchange. Worn ones get rejected. The Philippines is about 15 hours ahead.
